Аннотация

Обзор посвящен информации о природных источниках алкалоидов-пигментов класса беталаинов, биотехнологии культур клеток для получения этих веществ, применении и фармакологическом действии беталаинов и их производных. Приведены сведения о растениях, в состав которых входят беталаины, общие характеристики этих пигментов различной структуры, данные об их использовании на основании их фармакологического действия показана перспективность их применения для создания новых лекарственных средств.
