Current article is 6th in a series of articles devoted to the history of phytotherapy. The previous article described the teaching of Hippocrates and his use of remedial plants in medical practice. In continuation we research use of herbal medicines by ancient doctors considering activity and work of Theophrastus – “the father of botany”.
