The article presents studies of the metabolomic profile of the shoots of Crataegus rivularis Nutt. and Crataegus macracantha L. Lipophilic fractions were obtained from plant shoots by a single maceration. The study of the component composition of the fractions was carried out using the method of gas chromatography with a mass selective detector (GC-MS). During the study of the shoots of Crataegus rivularis, 24 compounds were found, and the presence of 38 biologically active substances was revealed in the shoots of Crataegus macracantha. The components of lipophilic fractions, according to the literature, have various pharmacological properties, including antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and also have a positive effect on the lipid profile. The extraction ability of hexane, petroleum ether and chloroform in the release of lipophilic substances from the shoots of the above hawthorn species was compared. Petroleum ether proved to be the most effective in this respect. Based on the data obtained, the main groups of volatile compounds accumulated in the shoots of Crataegus rivularis were identified. and Crataegus macracantha, which confirms the expediency of isolating and further studying the components with the prospect of introducing these species of hawthorn into medical practice.
