Professional competence for doctors of osteopathy as a basis for professional standards

The growing interest in osteopathy requires integration of osteopathy in the medical science and healthcare system in Russia. It requires the development of professional and educational standards for osteopathy. Professional standard for specialists providing osteopathic care is based on the allocation of professional competence in accordance with the activities osteopath. We have presented a draft version of the professional competence of specialist providing osteopathic care, which can be used both for developing training programs for osteopaths and for attestation of existing specialists.References
