In this paper, the origin, development and current state of electropuncture diagnostic techniques in the Soviet Union (Russia) and foreign countries are critically consider. Basing on Russian and foreign literature sources the basic principles of the diagnosis by measuring the electrical properties of the skin at certain points or zones are analyzed.References
